Fuel additives Tcw3

Question I've heard of people adding some tcw3 oil into the fuel tank to help lubricate the injectors, does this help and if so how much do I use and how often? I've been using Power Service but I know the oil would be a little cheaper to use more often.

You should fill out what year and model truck you have it make it easier for guys to help, anyways I use power service and tcw3 in each tank, unless I can get some LSD in Parker, I use about 4 ounces of each on every fill up, it all depends on how empty your tank is on the amount, some guys use about 1/2 ounce per gallon, hope this helps, Oh ya dont use it in the new 6.7 motors, power service yes tcw3 no

Sorry about that. 2006 Dodge 2500 Mega Cab 5.9l diesel, and I just filled up my tank and used 16 oz of Power Service and I guess I will be adding 4 oz of tcw3 oil also. SO what are the benifits I should expect by doing this and would be ok just to use the tcw3 by itself as the only additive ?

Just the regular stuff here, too. The injectors are dramatically quieter. Expect to see yet another additive war here. It's not entirely neccesary but it can't hurt and like I said, the injectors like it a lot. I call it cheap insurance.

4oz of TCW3 oil isn't much for 37 gallons of fuel. The standard ratio used by many here is .5-.6 oz per gallon. A 16 oz pint is just about right for a fill up if on empty.

I don't like PS. I use wlamart brand TCW3 2 stroke oil at a 200:1 ratio (.64 oz / gallon of fuel).

So I take it as it's ok to just use the tcw3 oil and not other additives and still get good results? What are the results that I should expect from using tcw3 oil?

I use the walmart ashless tcw3 that comes in blue gallon containers for $11
My ratio is 1 oz per gallon of fuel, and when it's going to be 20 deg. F or lower I use PS antigel. Been using it for several years, some people say makes the truck quieter, but I cannot tell the difference.

Quieter engine, ever so slight bump in mileage, and peace of mind.

Its called Super Tech. I use 24oz per fill up and it its still running so i guess its not hurting it. It does run with a little more quietness.

Whenever I top off my tank, it's anywhere from about 24-27 gal., and I'll put in 16 ounces of 2 stroke oil. About every 4th fillup, instead of the oil, I dump in Redline injector supplement. And every once in a while, I don't put anything in the fuel when I top off, just so I can lean out anything that's left in the tank if I think I might have been running the oil mixture too rich. Works well for me on my '06, and did the same on my former '03. Never had a problem using 2 stroke oil in my trucks.

I am going to start running 16oz TWC3(every fillup) and 16oz PS (everyother fillup).

For less then 2 dollars each fillup, it is nice piece of mind.
