front yoke

Does anyone know where I can get a front (dana60) yoke for my 1992 w250. I went to auto parts store in need of u joint and bought one and installed it with new straps and the joint slides side to side. The ears are missing off of the yoke that hold u joint in center. I thought the straps would pull down tight enough to hold it but it didnt. Oreily A/P cant find the correct yoke any help would be great.

Northern Driveline would have it, or northwest fab works. I have had good experiences with Northern Driveline, but I haven't ordered much from them.

You may end up getting the bigger style that the 93's have and get a u joint thats small on the driveshaft end and bigger for the axle side. I got mine from 4 wheel parts. com and at that time its all that DANA offered.

FIgure out what U-joint it is. Google will take you to many sites and all you'll need is to measure end-of-cap to end-of-cap and its diameter( of the cap that is). I got my rear yoke from Riverside Gear. It was a forged one v. cast at just a slight premium in cost. It took the u-bolts too( not a fan of the strap ).
cheers,
Douglas

Sorry My yoke came from Northern Drivetrain, not northern driveline. I ended up getting a conversion u-joint, it think it was a 1350 on the axle, and a 1310 on the shaft. If you were picky you could probably get a new end for your driveshaft to run the 1350 joint. I did when I ordered a new shaft.

Do the dana 70 and dana 60 have the same size pinion where the yoke slides on? I once thought I heard you could put a 1410 dana 70 yoke on the 60?

60 and 70 are the same so you can put the 1410 on there yes.

Also, my front yokes are all the mopar type with no ears but the correct u joints have a clip on the caps that keep them centered... No Yoke ears here either.
