My front window defrosters are not working on my truck. The floor and the vents are working properly. When i switch to the defrosters the air is directed to the floor. The heat and A/C both work fine and the fuses are fine. I have been told that two different things could be causing this: the "switch" that controls where the air flows to, or an electrical relay problem. I am not sure if either could be the problem? Does anyone have any info?

If it is the "switch" that controls where the air is directed to, where is it located (passanger side / Driver side)? And am i going to need to take the dash apart?

Unfortunatley I think you may have a directional door problem. Common in our version of this truck. There is a little tab that wears out(like a key) and the motor will still work but the door will not move. I just spent a LOT of money getting my truck done this spring. The dealer did mine and they have to pull the entire dash to get to it... Make sure if this actually your situation, they replace the blend door flap also.
