Front Wheel Squeak - NOT Brakes
It's a 2003 Quad Cab Dually 4x4 with manual transmission. The squeak increases frequency as speed increases. It's definitely coming from the front, probably the left front. I jacked up the left side and spun the wheel, no noise. Jacked up the right side, no noise, either. I noticed the front driveshaft spins, too. Is that how it's supposed to work?
Anyway, I was wondering if any of you have any thoughts. Thanks in advance!

do you notice if the squeak is worse going around corners?
I had a squeak mostly around corners, turned out to be an wheel joint. Look right where the 'cup' meets the joint, if one is fubar'd you'll likely see some nice shiny metal thru all the rust.
Didn't really notice it till i jacked up the front end, and spun the wheel, with them turned to the left a bit....

Ditto, if it squeaks while turning and front tires rotating, then I would say front axle-end u-joints, if it squeaks all of the time and gets louder and faster while driving then maybe front driveline u-joints/cv-joints (transfer case to pumpkin)

Front Wheel Squeak - NOT Brakes
It squeaks while driving in a straight line. I'll get out there and lift the front end to see if the squeaking changes while the steering is turned.
Thanks for the replies!

I just got my U joints done on my driveshaft. It would squeek about every 3-4" of travel. Within a couple of days got progressively worse. I thought the squeek was comming from the front wheel also. I had it fixed at the dealer. I have 63k miles right now.
