Front seal in Transmission WONT stay in?
Well to make a long story short.
After putting the stock TC back up in.
Got about 3-4days worth of driving and I decided to unplug the wastegate line.
I didn't see no difference in boost #s so I figured the diafram was rusted.
Well picked up my buddy and was going up a hill and hurd a loud *** pop.. and lost all boost.
Went to pull it down to the garage and rolled underneath to find the tranny leaking terriably from the TC
So I figured it cracked the TC due to the first TC had a broken hub.
Pulled the tranny to find the front seal was melted to the TC..
My dad said it was the first chrysler he saw do that.
So I was wondering what are the odds of anyone having this happen to them?
We put a seal retainer on it off of a 700R4.
Put it back up in, and noticed the boot to the aftercooler for the turbo was off, so hooked it back up.
Then we fiddled w/ the WG and was getting about 35# in OD/Lockup
What is it wastegated at stock?
The next morning (today) rolled underneath to find out it was leaking AGAIN!
So I don't know, just checking..

hi
are you sure you have not over filled the trans as there is a vent in there at top of pump housing that would allow fluid to leak into the bell area if over filled ? check level when hot in Netural on a level spot !
if it is the seal agin when you pull the trany check the end play in the input shaft , thrust washers may be shot causing problems / over heating .
make sure flex plate is true and not bent or warped !
good luck !
