Where is the front rotor casting number?

Where can I find it? It's cold and full of snow, would rather not spend 40yrs searching in the dessert for it.

Any recent purchasers know which rotors off rockauto are still made in the USA?

Thanks!

None are still made in the US AFAIK.

You should have the "internal" style locking hubs, just like a Chevy (little allen screws holding the locking mechanism into the hub), and the rotors are the same for a 1981 - 86 or so Chevy one ton, K30, SRW. That is how I make sure that I am getting the correct rotors -- I look up the Chevy rotors and make sure I am getting the same part # .

Yep, no USA made rotors any longer. I was less than happy when the best I could do was Taiwan made. Oh well, They have much better metalurgy than China. Even Dealer rotors are Chinese.

So visually what am I looking for to tell the difference between the 2 casting numbers?
If my hub assembly doesn't look like Alec describes, what would it look like?
Thanks

There are 2 rotors, one is vented with openings, the second is non vented. My 91.5 SRW takes the non vented style. The normally vented style fits the early style that came with the Selectro **** type hubs but there may be a few exceptions.

Pretty sure my truck has warn hub locks on it, my brother's 89 has those old looking hub locks, so I would expect to pull a wheel and see the non vented rotor then. Temps have warmed up here so I should be able to get to this this weekend.

Non-vented rotors? My 91.5 has vented rotors.

And, yes, the old style hubs with the big pot-metal ***** use the non-GM interchangeable number.

Is that a 91.5?? If it is that is the same setup as my truck. Warn hubs were factory installed on those.

I can't remember the part number, but I had to use rotors listed for a Chevy & Dodge Duallie to get them for mine a year or so ago. This required drilling the stud holes oversize in the new rotors to fit the SRW studs.

The last post in this thread lists part numbers & drill sizes for the work.

yes a 91.5. Looking at Rockauto.com I would think I have the 353 casting by the pics and those are listed for 3/4 and 1 ton GM and Dodge
WAGNER Part # BD60622 More Info
Front; 4500 Ib. FA; Hub Casting No. 100353; 1.465" Width
RAYBESTOS Part # 5048R More Info {Professional Grade; Outside Diameter 12.875" / 8 Bolt Holes #5048}
Front; 4500 Lb Axle; Rotor Casting Number 100353

I guess the question is are those the same as the rotors you got and will they directly fit.

That sure looks like the right part to me.
Like I said, mine were listed as fitting Dodge 3/4 & 1 ton as well as Chevy 1 ton. They also look just like what I remember & just like the rotors in your pics.

NOTE: You will probably have to drill the bolt holes out to fit your truck since it is not a dual rear wheel model. This works best on a drill press & requires a 5/8" drill bit. (I used a Shopsmith Mark V )

For the front wheel seal, I have National 415009 listed in my notes.

If you get the rotor that fits single rear wheel trucks (Chevy/GM 1 ton, and of course, Dodge diesel 1 & 3/4 ton), then you won't have to do any modifications. That is the 5048 according to rock auto.

The seals I listed are under Spindle Hub Seal (inner and outer), the one you listed is shown as a wheel seal (only 1?) on rockauto. How many seals do I need to replace when taking this apart?
