Front hub bearings

Ok Ya'll,
Just had to repalce my front hub bearings at 44k miles. I was, at the time out of town and didn't have all of my tools with me, so I had to visit the dreaded dealership. It all started with a small vibration in the go pedal and steering wheel around 60-65 mph. Then I was hearing a kind of roar when turning sharp left or right at a slow speed between 8 and 15 mph. Took it to the dealership and had everything checked. They found the left bearings almost ceased and the right were on there way. Oh, by the way, hub bearings are not part of the drivetrain and are not covered under the drivetrain warrenty. So, 3 days later my truck was fixed to the tune of 1355.00 ! Anyway........ Life goes on !
