Front end rub/grind

Hey guys:

I have a grinding/rattle that I can't figure out where it's coming from. When stopped and applying pressure to the steering wheel (toward the left), I hear a pretty loud rattle. Also, if I turn a hard left at speed, I'll hear a grinding sound from the front right. I've replaced the U-joints and hubs. Brakes look good, no marks and clears everything ok. The dust shields a clear and I can't see any marks on any rotating parts in the front. Doesn't matter if the front end is locked or not (4X4). Motor mounts look good and I don't see anything touching the frame, etc... Are there any bearings on the right side of the axle other than the hub? I think I have 2 different problems with the first being the PS pump and the second being a rub or bearing somewhere. Any help would be appreciated.

This might sound silly but check that the exhaust isn't hitting anything, especially around the transfer case.

Exhaust is clear, motor/tranny mounts look good - nothing appears to be hitting. The sound is very pronounced after going over a speed bump when the front end compresses and rebounds. Brake calipers are sliding freely, no marks on the inside of the rims or the axle shaft at the tube or knuckle. I'm stumped...

From your last post it sounds like a shock or spring.

X2. From that i would check for loose/broken coils and shocks, coil mounts n bolts, etc. Check all things suspension

I agree with something spring related, check the rubber insulators on top of the springs, maybe ones wore through?
