I think the most common thing is the track bar getting loose causing the imfamous "death wobble" but my truck has 123k and no issues with that. I did do an upper ball joint, just one. Best thing is to roll up under there and grab the track bar and push/pull at the joints, should have no movement up/down etc. Basically just check all steering joints.

Change those control arms ! On your year of truck are they still a u shaped stamped out of sheet metal (spinless weak trash) like on my truck. I went with Rancho's heavy round tube ones, added zirks and saw immediate improvement with looseness.

if you lay under the truck, and have someone work the steering wheel back and forth, you will see everything that is loose. the one and only nice thing about the front ends on these trucks is that they are relatively simple.
