front end chirping

Got a chirping sound in the front end when the truck is in motion - probably the driver's side. Two chirps, silence, two chirps, silence, etc., but it comes and goes. I notice that for as long as I use the brakes, turn the truck to the left or right, or accelerate, the chirping stops. Any ideas?

That sounds suspiciously like a universal joint. Since it is changing when you accelerate, turn or otherwise change the load, probably one of the axle joints. I haven't done one on my truck now, but did on my previous 1/2 tone and it's a pita, but doable. good luck.

check your wheel bearings, brake pads, and wheel joints.
