been noticing a small leak getitng bigger from the front of my engine. I have a seal here and just need to get a washer to fix the KDP but was lookin and the top bolt on the cover was almost all out. I turned it back in by hand and in the morning I'll run aorund them with a wrench. Any reason for that to happen? Truck has roughly 175K

it was killing me so got the flashlight out and tightened the bolt. Notice most the oil was running from that bolt hole and from the oil filler neck. Grapped channel locks and got about a 1/4 turn on it also. Would that cause a decent leak? After driving and park come back 30 min later and would be a 6" diameter puddle deal. Tried to deel for any cracks and can't feel any but can't feel past the fan hub really either.

hopefully ur KDP is still in. Is it still leaking after tightening the bolt and the filler neck?

I just fired it up and moved 40 feet away to use it and looked before starting to move back and didn't see any oil but I will take to won here later and see after it gets up to temp and all.
