OK guys need a little help here! I just put new hub/rotor assys, new calipers and new hoses on a year ago. Last week I heard the indicator so I new it was time to change the pads. I pulled the passenger side tire off and the only pad that is wore out in the inner one. Yes just the inner pad seems kind of stange. All the rest of them including the drivers side still a a 1/4 inch or better left. Have any of you guys had this problem?

sounds like your caliper isn't sliding freely..need to put some grease on the pins.

Ive done that. I do that everytime I put on new pads. I have even gone as far as taking the rotor/hub assy off and mounting the caliper on there and make sure it moves freely. I check it last time before replacing all the other stuff. Im tried a different type of pads this time and had my rotors turned. As much as I drive ill pull the tires off in a couple of months and check them.

If you want your pads to last longer grease the pins at least every 10k.
It's easy, you don't even need to jack the truck up or remove anything other than the pins if you do them one at a time.

If you get your truck wet you may need to lube them more often.

Anybody ever thought about drilling and inserting a grease fitting in the side of the caliper?

It could be done.
Bet the reason it isn't done stock is because the engineers figure many people would over grease them and foul their pads up
