0 plate, AFC slid full forward, timing to 15-16.
Turn the starwheel all the way or till there is more smoke than you can tolerate.
I would spend the money for a GSK, well worth it.

Lary swears by the DTR window stickers. He says each one is worth about 30 hp and 100 ft lbs of torque. (I think he's got about 30 on his ride.)

It's true for the 12V guys, but the 24V trucks require more expensive measure (electronics or injectors).

Internals for a p-7100 mechanical injection pump.

Nothing similar in a 24 valve VP-44 electronic pump.

I'm not sure exactly where you'll be going, but I bet you'll get there faster!

3k and 4k kits refers to 3000 rpm or 4000 rpm governor spring kits. Basically a set of springs that replaces the stock set to increase the rpm point where the governor pulls the fuel back. The 3k rpm kit can be run with stock valve springs, but he 4k rpm kit is meant to be run with heavier valve springs. The other free mods make them pretty peppy, but the gov. spring kits really wakes them up.

yes sir, i have 60lb valve springs coming as well. i have a question though, does the GSK make them rev QUICKER as well as LONGER, or is it just for more rpms?

throttle response will improve, you'll notice a big difference with the 4k kit, a bit touchy in the beginning, but you will get used to it.
