I found a rockin chassis for my FAST Truck

Well as some of you know....I've been accumulating goodies like engines, trucks, and fast parts for about 2 years....all with the goal of building a Clean, Fast, Diesel Sports Truck that can either be driven as a Weekend Play truck or taken into battle on the Strip.

Well, I found a short box 2004 4wd Dodge that has been customized.....SRT 10 hood, LED tailights in the tailgate, Black on Black on Black, Dropped and Lowered (It's way lower than an srt10), on 22 or 24" 30 series tires, .....for $14k....More than I was hoping but I think....worth it.

Basically All I do is drop in one of my Power Trains with the new rear suspension and Fast Axle, Cage it, Seat it, gauge it, chute it and remove the excess baggage and its good to go.

I've seen it from about 10 feet away 3 times, tonight from 10 inches away in the streetlights and tomorrow morning I go over it with my Mechanic Nephew and then it might be cha ching time.

Yes I know....Ya want pix....Tomorrow I'll have the camera. Unless it is beat to crap on a Salvage Title....I'm 70% committed....

Help me get to 110%, Kerry

All it

As it is.... it looks killer....put a insulated SS 8" Stack coming out out of the Tonneau and smaller rims and Z rated tires on there to get it within 4 inches on the ground and 4500rpm's under the hood and it will look....blurry....Might have to teflon skid plate it.....Kerry

I took the little beast for a ride this morning....its a fixed up truck for sure....looks like it had a passenger side swipe....both rims are scuffed and one has been repaired....poorly....too scared to take it over 80mph.

It runs strong with the 5.9 hemi.....breaks the 305 24 Hankooks loose at 70mph. There is an engine code that I didn't check ....

Popped it into 4wd just as I was entering the gravel lot and my buddy thought the fixed rear wheel fell off .... something is trashed in the transfer case or I think that the axles were swapped and the rear is a 3.92 and the front a 3.73....not a good combination. Nightrider headlights and SRT 10 tail pipe

I can smell the price dropping .....I is a great truck for 10k...and only fair for 14k.

The paint job was done by someone mentally challenged at the art of painting....the taillights are well done....the gas filler is now in the bed....its done well. Chassis is in good shape but I'd have my body guy put the frame on the lasers to make sure its lined up in 3-D.

Oh yeah, I took pix and they hopefully will be approved soon. Let me know...Kerry

Kerry image is in your profile just says pending approval still but looks good in the smaller picture but from what you described sounds like you got some work ahead of ya maybe they will come down on the price or atleast meet you in the middle.

That truck is sweet....Id definetly point out every little flaw and get the price below $10k It sounds like a mechanical nightmare for an unsuspecting teenager but since you know how to fab its perfect.

I laied at night a few time thinging about this very same project.

Like a 4WD diesel version of a black regular cab SRT-10 that will kill everthing on the street/strip.

Id take it to lots of events and make it safe at 150mph.

Great minds must think alike.

Now buy it!!!!!

I don't want to sound negative, but you'd be much better off just buying a 2500 with the diesel in it and cut it down.. It's a huge job to do the swap and make everything work. It's a day job to cut one down. Trust me.. I've been both routes.. You'll be money ahead in the long run..
