Ford springs stronger?
Ok guys quick question, and its more of a wonderment than a problem i guess
My uncle has a 05 f250 with a 3 horse gooseneck trailer, living quarters up from something like 32 ft long.
I have a 06 2500 with a 40 ft goose car hauler
Question is why does my truck trailer combo completely sag over the overload springs when his doesnt even touch them? I was noticing all weekend that the trailers with jeeps and what not on them the truck didnt sag near as much as my empty trailer sagged my 2500..
So questions is are their travel springs stiffer? OR whats going on here? I bought the truck used, Guess im trying to figure out if they changed the springs... I dontk now the tounge weight of the trailer, I know when we weighed it once we were at 6100 on the rear axle. but the trailer was loaded.

I'd say that to compare the two, you should run them both across some scales, & see what the weights are. His load might ballance out for less toung weight than yours.

yeah not knowing the pin weights made it all seem like a vague questions, but just general observations made me thing that the previous owner may have changed something, didnt want to mask a problem with the helper springs
