Buddy of mine (that likes to rip on Dodge) had fuel pump problems with his 7.3 so my Dodge came to the rescue. The lot was empty at work but I had to park here anyway just for the picture op!

I have a neighbor who is all about Fords, and always running down Dodge's. He told me he would rather push a ford than drive a Dodge. I told him if he kept driving Fords he would probably get that chance to push it. He doesn't talk trucks with me much anymore.

I hope that you already took the rest of the tiedowns off because thats one of saddest tie down jobs I've seen in while.

Or were you hoping the Ford would fall off?

I think the interior strap goes across the front seat.

Why does everyone cut the fords down? Dodge has some lemons too just like fords has some that are reliable.

Not to nitpick but never ever use a tie down when you are hauling a vehicle. Chains are much safer not trying to flame you just give some advice from one that has made the same mistake. No don’t ask, but I will say that it involved a fast stop and a highway patrol.

my 07 was a lemon and that ford in the pic has the better motor. its just that most dodge owners get tired of how wonderful the pw is and that its the mirical motor that neever does anything wrong. like i tell anybody who ask, i am not brand loyal i am what does the job that i need it to do with the least amount of problems and that can hold up the best. i happen to have found that cummins will do that while the other motors offered will not.

Lesson learned on the straps. Every time I stopped to check them, I had to tighten the straps more. I don't know if the straps were stretching or if the suspension would sag more. I used frame hooks and straps with chains on the end but it still would not stay tight. Next time it will be binders/chains.
