I have to wonder how navistar is going to come out of this. Ford might walk out smelling like roses, but if it's all engine problems, and they make the engine....

I saw one driving the other day, I kinda like how they look in person, if they had a cummins and half the sticker price I might be able to get one someday, lol.

*Runs out and hugs his 1st gen and thanks it for always running like it should*

Do I feel sorry for the Ford boys? Nope, not one bit. Its amazing what a set of blinders will do to a person

I feel sorry for the Ford Guys, especially the salesmen!!

With all this litigation going on you'd have to be absolutely ignorant to buy a Navistar powered, Ford. Not to mention the resale value of the same.

This seems to be a no win situation for either party involved, not to mention the lack of competition helping to further diesel engine development as a whole.

"Ford designing their own Diesel".............................

well you find blinders on horses and ford is the only one that names a vehicle after horses (mustang, pinto)maybe they should name this one the shetland pony edition.and for the full effect deliver the truck with an I in the glovebox to be swapped out with the E when your setting at the side of the road waiting for the dpf to cool,or the tow truck.

my uncle is a ford salesmen in Co, it's kind of odd though because he just got a contract deal for a bunch of commercial trucks, I think F-350 and 450's, and he said his paycheck each month while thats heppening is gonna be close to 24k..... So somebody keeps buying them, lol.

I sell SportChassis trucks and I bet you 90% of the people I've dealt with recently are wanting to trade in a 6.0l Ford.

They don't seem to have any idea why we can't give them squat for their trade. We explain to them, but most are still clueless! I'm willing to bet that the average Ford owner has no idea whats going on with these trucks unless they've had a problem themselves.

I saw one today on the way to school actually. I see them quite often. Do you think ford will prevail if they make their own diesel?
