I don't think they had dana 60's in the front. I thought they were dana 50's. Other then that it sounds cool.

F350's used a front 60 unless it was like a 84ttb ? the 250's used the pos ttbfront axle. Some had a 50 version - I think later stuff. My buddies 86 6.9 truck hadda 44 ttb. That thing was the biggest piece of junk.....

Pre-superduty 1 ton's had the dana 60 solid axle. They went to the 50 with the superduty.

Dana 50 or 44? Didn't know a 50 existed.

The 80-85 F350's had TTB, the 50 is the most common, 85.5-97 are 60's.
The F250's, up to 90 or so could be had with either the 44HD, or the 50 TTB, then the 44 was phased out. The TTB 50 is a real oddball axle, D60 wheel hubs/bearings/etc, stub shafts are 30 spline like a 60. U-Joints are a 1350 series driveline joint, external clips and all, at the diff, the axles are 44 sized 30 spline, but the ring and pinion are bigger....
The Stupid Duty(I had one, I can call it that... LOL) 50 is a different animal again... It's a D60 housing for the most part, has 60 outers and u-joints, but, the axles neck down to D44 size 30 spline at the diff... IIRC, it went out of favor after 03, I know all the 05+ trucks are a fully 35 spline 60.
There's my useless info contribution for the day.... LOL
