Before the sun goes all the way down I usually cruise with my running lights and fog lights on but the other night my fog lights wouldn't come on checked the fuses and they were good. has anyone else had this problem or know of any possible solutions? thanks in advance

The switch just went out in my friend's 99. Headlights worked fine just no more power to the fog lights.
It was around $100 at the dollarship for a new one beause it's a big multi-function switch. The headlights are so bad in these trucks I would hate to drive w/o the fog lights. Good luck.

If my switch went out then would the little green fog light indicator light still light up?

This happened to me in my 2nd gen CTD one time. Turned out the relay had gotten turned upside down in the engine compartment and moisture had corroded it.

How are the fog light bulbs? Do you have power right at the fog lights?

I havent broken out the test light yet but i guess i should quit being lazy and get on it. Hotazdiesel do you mean the relay in the box or is there another one somewhere?
