Fog Lights Out

On the return trip from KY on Sunday I noticed the green fog light indicator wasn't on. Stopped the truck to check and sure enough no fog lights. Checked the fuse but haven't checked the lamps (too much snow on the ground to crawl around under the truck). Just doesn't seem that both lamps would go at once. Is there a relay for the fog lights? Where?Could it be the push pull part of the headlight switch?

It's the switch!

Finally had time to get the truck in the garage and check out the fog light problem. It is the little contacts in the push-pull part of the headlight switch. I have found the non-foglight type of headlight switches listed at NAPA and Advance Auto parts for $60+. Is the foglight version of the switch a dealer only part? any idea what it will cost?

I figured the factory switch was too much money so I just tapped the foglight wires and wired a cool little rocker switch on the corner of the dash to fire up the fog lights. Five bucks for the switch and now I can turn on the fog lights independent of the head lights and use them for "day time running lights".

I've got the same problem. Which wires run the foglights?

Sorry, it's been so long since I was in that part of the dash I couldn't tell you which are the fog light wires. But all I did was just unplug the connector and test till I found the right one.
