Fog Light Install Question

I've been looking at the OEM fog light kits that include the wiring harness and the correct switch. Has anyone done this installation and how difficult is the job ? Thanks...

Very easy...

I started with a kit like that but very quickly moded it to fit my taste. I've got 55W and 100W driving lights on the front. A toggle switch to select 55, OFF, 100 Watt bulbs. It's all triggered to turn on with the parking lights of the truck.

Some of my wiring setup is in my picture gallery...

Only pain in the butt with the oem is removing the front bumper to install the inserts. Everything else is pretty straight forward.

Look under your radiator support (close to center) and see if there is an open two pin plug. If it is there, get a relay (from Dodge and isn't very expensive) for the power distribution center and install it in the fog light position. Next install the new headlight switch and wire the lights to the plug under the radiator. This will save you from having to run wires into the cab and splicing into any of the factory stuff. Like J BODY said the only hard part is R&R of the bumper.

I actually did this yesterday. It was faily simple, and as it was said before, the hardest part was pulling the bumper. All the trim also has to be dis assembled from it as well as the mounting brackets. It was all plug in except for 3 wires that have to be ran into the cab. There is one wire that turns the fog lights off when the high beams are turned on. I left this disconnected so that they would stay on as long as I had them switched on.

If you haven't found them yet, I got them from HERE

This was the cheapest place I could find unless you can find them on Ebay.
