Anyone know the torque # for the bolts from FW to Crankshaft?
Also the torque # for the bolts from pressure plate to FW?
Should I use thread locker on this bolts?
Thank You.
After I removed the old clutch from the engine I found it is only half way used maybe even less so I'm not buying a new one I'll just trow a new to bearing and pilot bushing.

There are conflicting reports on the flywheel to crankshaft value. My Cummins book says 101 ft/lbs with a Manual trans. I use lock-tite, but they normally don't from the factory. Couldn't find a # for the pressure plate, just snugged it up.
Yes, silicone works fine for the cover. I would get either Peratex Ultra-Grey or "GM Gray Assembly Adhesive Silicone Sealant". They may be the same thing, i dunno, but both have excellent oil resistance.

In case someone didn't know I found out the torque for the pressure plate to flywheel bolts is 18-20 ft/lbs when Pete at south bend told Me I asked twice since it seemed too low but Hey Yep that is the #.
