Flux 5 or 6 and nitrous?

So it looks like the 06 in my sig could use some more fuel, it smokes at WOT but not all that much, and we could never figure out why nitrous didnt add power, except i think it needs more fuel to take advantage of the nitrous.

So how big of an injector could i go? (Its got flux 4 now)
WITHOUT upgrading turbos.

And what nitrous kit should we go with to burn the extra fuel? I want a good one, (and be done with it)
Im open to suggestions.

Bud you need to figure out yor fuel problem. With my 3.5s and Smarty stacked with a TST I can black out the sun. I have a 62/71/13ss over a S480 and cant get her to clean up at 65+ lbs of boost. You have put alot of time and money in your truck, I wish you the best but something isnt right. With 4s you should have enough fuel for 800+ on #2 only with the right air flow. With nitrous you should be over 1000. Good luck.

I agree. With the same turbos you had in my last set and previously run Flux 3.3s, Mr. Pyro was not happy. At all.

I dont get it!

Truck is running high 11's quarter mile and 7.7 in the 1/8 mile
60 psi boost, it dropped a bit after the cam, so around 55 psi
i see no less then 26,500 psi Rail pressure at WOT with the MP-8
I never tested the fuel pressure, could it be low if RP is fine?
pyro peggs at 1600, but not very quickly.
ill try to upload a video of a WOT run to see the smoke...

Rye-Thomas, Does your truck smoke that much at full boost?
BTW how fast is your srt-8 Cherokee?
We where gonna race one the other day with the 06, he blew up his engine on the track, when he started spraying nitrous (too soon?) I heard he broke all 8 pistons, but im not sure.

Get a 3-stage Progressive System. I can Clear all the smoke on top with 3.3 with out a problem. Just from you telling that your pegging the pyro quick tells me that spray should help you out quite a bit Something just doesn't add up. Your times are good tho

At full boost Ryans truck does not smoke. Below about 40 lbs there is a haze and of course it smokes hard at low or no boost if he wants. Tim

Tim, do you have an idea what could be wrong with the truck, making so little boost? or why the spray doesnt help? also what nitrous kit should i go with?

BTW thanks for the help on the HG, it finally holds up now!

No clue what my times are. I am a true believer if you are going to race you better be able to have the cash to fix it when it brakes, and with this economy I just cant get ahead so no racing for me. I do plan on racing it and I wish I could now but times are tuff.

As far as my SRT8 they are tuff to beat stoplight to stoplight on the street. On the track though they only run 13s stock so against a modded truck you could take them. But I wouldnt want to be doing boosted launches on the road so again stop light to stop light they are quick. Also being Naturally asperated they come out of the hole really quick. My truck still has nothing for my SRT8 on the street. The only thing that has beaten me was my dads S65 AMG and that thing is a supercar.

You guys take it easy, and 12valve I hope you get things worked out.
