I have one, noticed it immediately. Smoothed the truck right out. I feel it is a very worthwhile improvement

You bet!! The two mods that smoothed out my truck the best was the Fluiddampr and Don M's cam. They both made such an improvement. $$$ well spent, IMO.

I think the Fluidampr is a must for serious modding....along with an H2 Cam and springs!

You will notice it as soon as you start your truck after putting it on.

The mount is easy, the wiring is the difficult part. I would definately leave this for the pros.

OOOpps,, wrong post..... the fluiddampner is easy,, just remove the stock harmonic dampner,, it just falls off, install the new one.. The belt can be a little tricky, but other than that easy as pie

Worth every penny. Made my noisy, rough 01' idle nice and smooth, especially on the highway. Great investment for any Cummins...

I know a lot of guys recommend this thing and I've heard it's WAY heavier than the stock balancer. Is there any downside to changing out the stock balancer with something so much heavier (like increased wear & tear)?
