Fluid for Transfer case (Manual Transmission)

Is there a difference between mopar atf and aftermarket atf?

I think my 04 took just under a gallon not sure if there is a difference from a auto to a manual

I believe the transfer case spec is 2 quarts (4.0 pints). Same for the NV271 and NV273 (electric shift, and manual shift transfer case).

Mine has always taken just a bit more than that to reach the bottom of the fill plug.

Wal-Mart may have Mopar ATF+4 cheaper than the dealership.
