It needs to have a fooler box on it so that the overhead doesn't give you a code. When they put my Proline on they tied part of the lights into the factory wiring with the fooler box and then the rest to the trailer wires. They had to put inline resistors in because of the LED's also so that the flasers would not go haywire
If it was me, and you knew someone that was good at the lighting on this, I would have it done
BTW, look at the Proline beds out of Prineville. They are the most solid beds I have ever seen!! Not to mention beautiful!! For the money of one of the cheaper beds installed these are way nicer

went to school with Dean HUH?? He is a good guy and really helped me out when i had some LED's go bad after about 6 months. He changed every one out no charge and then ended up having to fix some wiring on it. Where was your Dad from originally? My whole family is from redmond.

What year is he pulling the bed from? If it is from a pre 03 it will take some fab work because the rails are wider on the newer truck than on the gen2's

too cool!!!

We are headed to Paulina at the end of the week for branding. Looks like we have about 300 to do this weekend. My uncle and aunt are the managers out on the Twin Butes Ranch so we get to go play cowboy for a few days every year!! Sure beats having to bust your butt that way for a living HAHA!!!

Yeah, I hear that!! I like the fact I can go up there and play at rancher pretty much as much as I want and then come home and get weekends off to do what I want haha!!
There is not a better lifestyle out there than a rancher or farmer! I send my son to the ranch about 4 times a year to spend at least a week by himself with my family, cut those apron strings and make him a MAN!! He just got off the phone with me a few minutes ago, said he spent all day pickin rocks and runnin the backhoe. He is 10!!

Love the pics man!! Looks like you guys are having a ball! Where are the pics of the party afterwards though? you know long story's and short beers

Check the Dodge body builders guide. Tells you all ya need to know about the lights. LEDs require the resistors, trailer/bed lights do not. All Trucks except Cab and Chasis come with that stupid light out message set up but they can be flashed by the dealer to get rid of it. Also you may want to look into installing relays if you will have alot of lights to keep the TIPM from getting fried. Chrysler goofed these trucks up by not installing fuses or relays.
