Has anyone here actually have personal experience with this? The claim seems to be around 10% better milage. Smoke and mirrors? Magnets? If it just freshens up the fuel, what if I always use fresh fuel anyway? What is fresher than fresh?

If I can get 10% better milage, it should take about 6 months for payoff.

it does not work as good as advertized it has the 10% at idle and nothing under load , for the intown driving it might pay for itself in a couple of years, mabe sooner at $5+ a gallon

One of the Diesel Magazines (Don't remember which one) installed one a few months back and claimed they saw maybe 1 to 1.5 mpg increase.

plenty of magazines have claimed the same thing... please don't allow yourself to believe that magazines don't get money from advertisers!!!! LOL!

I've installed one on my wife's minivan. It's given about a 10% increase in mileage (2mpgs). From what I've read & talked about with people that it seems to get get about 1-1.5mpg increase in a diesel. You'll have to take a look to see if spending the extra money (about the same cost as 3 tanks of fuel) if you're going to get your money's worth out of it.

Diesel Power had one installed as well on a 12V and claimed a 1.5 increase. I dont know if I would pay full price for on, but if I found on on ebay I would try it.

Also, I installed a Diesel Fuel Liquefier on my last truck (the one sold in my sig). I saw a 2 mpg increase with it and it also made it idle and run smoother that it ever did. The concept behind it is to heat the fuel and align all the molecules and heat the wax in the fuel so that it is evenly distributed with the fuel not in clumps in it. I understand that clumps is not a good way to discribe it, but in comparison to the fuel molecules, they are large clumps. Also, I am not sure that it will work on a c/r though.

I bet I can get as good an improvement as any gadget out there. And it won't cost you a nickel. But it requires you to do two things:

1. Check that you've got the required amount of air in your tires.
2. Ease up on the go-pedal.

There! Done!

Sorry I haven't added anything constructive or informative in reply to the original question, but I agree with the comments which describe this "solution" as pure rubbish.

I install the Fitch after reading the article in the magazine I have been running with it since september yes you will gain mileage but not 10% real number I might gain about .5 MPG hand calculate . with is better than the new intake I just install so far this is the aftermarket parts that did not give me any gain at all .
