What was the first Diesel 3/4 or 1 ton truck?When did it come out?<br>

 

if you're talking dodge they had a perkins diesel in em back in the 70's .......<br><br>so did chev for that matter (remeber the 5.7 olds conversion )<br><br>

I bought one in 89, it was a stripped down four wheel drive and rode like crap. It had more springs on the front than a lot of trucks had on the back. That was a tough little truck though and it is still on the road over in Williamsburg across the river from me. It had 142000 on it when I traded it and ran like a top.
