firm ride

I have a stock 03 4x4. I want to replace the stock shocks to achieve a firm ride. I was thinking about the Bilstein 5100. Will these give a firm feel? I tow often and the truck bobs up and down a lot. Eventually I will probably get Air bags for the rear, but for now I would like shocks.

KYB MonoMax 565018 front and KG6404 rear. Works sweet on my ride. A little firm in the rear unloaded, but smooth and stable loaded.

I don't tow so I don't know how much help this will be. I recently added Bilsteins 5100's and they are awesome. Truck rides a bit smoother, and steering inputs even feel a bit more responsive.

When you say the 5100 are smoother. Does that mean they fell softer? May be they have soft compression but the rebound is firm so as to not get bounce?
