Firestone air ride

Found a really good deal on a new in box set of load helper air bags, but it's for an 03 to 09 truck. Anyone know what kinda mods would have to be made to make em work?

I'm pretty sure there were some frame modifications for the 03 and up generation. Check out a parts sheet and see if its the same part # for the 99 and up years. If the part #'s differ there is probably a reason.

Good luck. Just make sure you get proper clearance between them and the tires, frame and any other suspension parts.
The differences are usually in the mounting plates and brackets because of different axle shapes and designs.

I've installed Firestones on 2nd and 3rd gen trucks.
The bags themselves are all the same, just the brackets are different.
With just a little bracket and maybe clamp fabrication the bags will fit on any truck.
