Finally On CoilOvers
Well,
I finally got my truck on some coilovers. I will have to get some pictures and get them posted tomorrow. I went with a 2.5" King Coilover from Don Thuren. I went with Stage 4 valving and Don set me up with a great dual rate spring setup. I fabbed up some mounts that replace the Shock Tower that is overly strong, and just used the bottom shock mount for now with a little reinforcement. I still have to dial in the springs and get my limiting straps back on. I think I am also going to add some Air Bumps. I will have to say that even with Stg 4 valving it still rides better than almost any truck I have ever been in.
As soon as I get pics I will get them posted. . .

I also repainted the entire truck about 4 weeks ago. Still have some pinstriping to do and some small items to take care of! Just before I did the paint and Coil Overs, I replaced another tranny and decided it was time to get gears done. So all in all, it is almost like a whole new truck. Still waiting on my Floor-It pump!
Ok, so the front Driveshaft works and it doesn't vibrate with the angle that is installed at right now. However, I had a failing U-joint that is now being replaced! The truck is at 11" over stock. I am in the process of putting adjustable links on the back of my Radius Arms so that I can move my front axle forward about an inch to make way for the 40"s. I will also probably move my front shock mounts to give myself more compression travel, it is at like 4"-5" right now!

How did you mount your rezzy's? Looks like you have Don's mount tucked up in there but cant tell for sure. I have mine up there too, but just clamped them to the inner fender well (yes jankey i know.. ). So far so good but would like something more stable, and the mount from Rize is 250 bucks..
You have any pics of the rezzy's not mounted?
Looks good btw!!
