??? Filter for A/C Heat System ???
??? Filter for A/C Heat System ???
Lately when I turn on the A/C I am getting dust, pollen and assorted things blowing out the vents. There are real small white pieces coming out too, thinking it could be a filter coming apart.
Normally this wouldn't bother much but I gave the interior a real detailing a few weeks ago so now every speck of dust bothers me.
Is there a filter somewhere? Does it need to be replaced once in a while?

Not sure if this will help your issue today.
...But you may have one of these on your truck now, or may want one if you dont.

The truck does not come with a cabin air filter stock, at least mine did not.

Mine does the same thing, especially this time of year w/ the cottonwoods blooming. That filter from Geno's looks good to me as there is no cabin filter on our year rigs. Kurt
I've had a Geno's cab filter for several years, work great. I just clean with a hose without removing.
Highly recommend for anyone who parks under trees, keep the leafs from clogging up your heater and A/C coils.
