Fass II codes?

Have any of you that has installed a fass II show a code 230 ( Fuel Pump Primary Circuit Malfunction)? Ive had that code since install. No check engine light and my fuel pressures are perfect so Im pretty sure there is no problems but I dont like to see codes.

Thanks Mooseman

Mooseman,
I'm not showing any codes that I know of, and no check engine light here either. What made you check for codes?

Carl, do you have a FASSII installed?....hey were in the same neck of the woods.....EAFB here too.
Did you dyno at Rapid Diesel a couple weeks ago?....I was going to, too long of a line. Went and bought a 5th wheel instead

Every once in a while Ill cycle the key three times just to see if anythings there.
The codes went away but now my fp idles at 18 was 22 and wot was 15 now 8
Ive replaced my fuel filter and no change. Im going to change the filter in front of the fass pump and if that dont change anything I guess Ill call the manufacture.

I have installed the FASS about 2 months ago and installed 3 others since. I went to Rapid Diesel on Friday when the first opened and buddy and I. I got 300 hp and 711 ft lbs torque at the rear wheels. Stock is 180 hp 354 torque so I did some good work so far. but know I need to get a better Transmission from Iowa it suppose to be better than stock pulling up to 24,000 lbs 450 hp.
So if you cycle the key three times that will give you the codes?

I pick up the kit tomorrow. The pressures are holding good. Still 17 at idle, 16 cruising, 14 WOT and seems to have a lot more smoke.

My only concern is the noise. I rearranged the motor clamp bracket and it helped some. I talked with Dan this morning and he said the FASS folks suggested I look for restrictions. Also said I should have used the quick disconnect furnished, due the plastic connector on the tank can be crushed easily. I have yet to check that. Also, to take off the furnished in-line filter and check it. I'll probably do that first.

I remember the bracket.. but not how the pump was mounted to the bracket.. was it on Rubber Isolators?? Kit?? kit for the lines for the fliter to the pump??
More smoke?? how were your pressures before...

The pump is mounted to the square end of the bracket with four bolts, and there is another bracket that bolts to the main one for the motor clamp. No isolators, but Dan is going to give me some anti-vibration pad material to put on it where the assembly touches the bracket. I'm also going to run a separate ground to be sure it's grounded good.
Yes, it's the "kit" with the larger line and fittings that goes between the filter and the VP 44. Before my lift pump started taking a dive, I was getting 11 at idle, cruise at 9/10 and 7 at WOT. On my way to Waco the last time, it was dropping to 4/5 cruising. I could punch the pedal and it would come back up for awhile. The original LP lasted about 120 K or so and this last one only about 40 K. I already had it ordered, so I now have a spare, new LP in the tool box.
About the smoke.....not sure. I have always had a little power/acceleration problem when the weather got real hot, so I decided to try some different additives other then Power Source. I first dumped a bottle of Lucas in it and it really seemed to wake the truck up. This about when the more smoke started. Next I tried Marvel Mystery Oil with Power Source and the MMO straight. I couldn't tell much difference in the latter, but I think the Lucas did the trick on the first go-round. It could have been a dirty injector problem to start with. Anyway, it runs better and smokes more.

Have you tried to clear the codes??? May have to find someone with a scanner, and clear them... some codes will not clear or reset by just disconnecting the batteries...
Good Luck
