FASS fuel line question..

The blue fuel line that came with my kit is cracking and is starting to colapse. Does anyone know the size of the fuel line? I think it is 1/2" ID. Need to make sure that is correct, also what is the AN size?
The fuel line has been on the truck a little over two years. Does anyone know of a fuel line that will hold up better? If so, what type and where can I get it?

Almost forgot, the bypass fitting that comes out of the FASS and goes back to the fuel tank is straight, this is where the colapse issue is beginning. I would like to put a 90 deg. fitting here. Does someone know what fitting I need? I know less than nothing about AN and push-on type fittings. I would like to order the fuel line and this fitting at the same time to address both my issues.

My FASS supplied blue line is 3/8. I believe they later offered kits with 3/8 and 1/2 in hose.

For AN sizes just remember AN size over 16. Number 8 AN is 8/16 or 1/2. Number 6 AN is 6/16 or 3/8. Number 10 AN is 10/16 or 5/8. Number 16 AN is 16/16 or 1.

I know Genos garage carries a few different vulcan performance hose kits. Some are complete with hose ends and adapter fittings. You can also buy direct from vulcan performance.

The reason we do not sell or install the blue fuel line is exactly for the reasons above. It will delaminate, crack and eventually fail. Works great as air line in the shop however.

We have some fuel line that will hold up for the long haul. It's black in color so it doesn't look like the Aeroquip knock off stuff, but it works great. Call the shop and we'll get you taken care of. We also have the fittings you need.

How long does the blue line last? Is the airdog stuff the same as the FASS as far as life expectancy?

Life expenxtancy varies depending on additve package, bio, or veg use, ect.

But we have had some show issues within the first 2 years, and we continue to get calls regarding hose issues.

The guys running a bio blend have the issues crop up the fastest.

I am sure if they are still using the same brand, but yes, it is the same hose.

I'll verify the size this weekend and will be ordering line and fitting. May get a draw straw too.
