Fass & Big line kit
I accidentally posted this in the 12V section last night....
I did what I said I was going to do and that was ditch the Carter pump for something better and got a Fass DDRP. I have a Vulcan big line kit and have the pump on the frame rail but the Fass won't use the same bracket due to its design. It looks like I've got to fab something up and was wondering if anyone has a pic of theirs to give me some ideas. Hopefully this frustration will be worth it.

I ran into the same thing when I installed mine. I called Vulcan and they sent me out the bracket for the DDRP, i'm pretty sure it was around $12.95. It is pretty stout steel (3/16"?) and orients the pump perpendicular to the frame lenghtwise. Sorry I can't post a pic right now, maybe someone else can help out there

Got it installed over the weekend and its holding 20psi at idle and 15 at WOT. Quiet and smooth. My only concern is that it doesn't run for 25 sec when you bump the starter...at least I can't hear it run like I could the Carter. Other than that, I'm impressed.
Oh yeah, made my own brackets and have pics if anyone's interested.
