Farm Bureau discount.

Ok, I got a simple question, does it make a difference if I join, lets say the Arkansas Farm Bureau, but I purchase my Dodge here in MD? I'm just wondering because I just joined the FB here in MD to get the discount, but I may end up getting one in Arkansas.

TIA

Re:Farm Bureau discount.

Crabjoe,
I believe you have to be a FB member for at least thirty days before you qualify for the discount. At least Texas does it that way. Click Here This is from the Texas FB page but I believe it applies across the board.

Yes, you do have to be a farm bureau member for 30 days before you qualify for the discount, but it doesn't matter as far as the which state you live in goes.

Re:Farm Bureau discount.

Thanks all! Not sure if the membership application went through but they did charge my credit card for it last week. I keep thinking I should have checked earlier on how it worked because then I could have joined the FB in another state at a lower cost. I guess it makes no difference since I ended up paying more then the membership fee anyways because of the additional donation. Hope the FB truely helps farmers because I hate organizations that spends more on admin costs then they do on their cause.

Re:Farm Bureau discount.

Luke,

How much is the FB discount? I'll be retiring from the Marine Corps in about 8 months and heading for So. Dakota..... hoping to get me a few acres and raise some bison.
