How far from the floor does it take for your clutch to engage?

How far from the floor does it take for your clutch to engage?

And what are signs its wearing out besides slippage?

Around 1/2 way off the floor and the higher off the floor to engage 3/4 and up would worry me.

Mine engages and always has at about 3/4 of the way up,

right now its engaging at just about the top...

Mine engages within about 2 inches of the floor. I worried about it being too tight when I first got the truck, but that has been 7 years and several thousand miles ago.

same here i have to take my foot off the petal to get it to fully engage, BUT i am putting a SBC DD in friday.
