EZ/TST Problems

Has anybody been having any TST/EZ interaction problems? I always run my Smarty and always leave the TST hooked up. Every time I would add my EZ within 2 days it would cause me problems (crank but no start, idle around 500 RPM's, or rev on its own). But with no EZ everything runs great. Well I decided to get my EZ reflashed. Sent it to Edge who found no problems but loaded the most current version anyways. I got it back and things ran great for about a day again, then back to the same old problems.

I asked John at Floor-It what he thought. He said he had other customers experiencing similar problems. He recomended putting the bypass plugs in the TST and running EZ only (Smarty always on). I did it last night and everythings been fine since, but sometimes it takes a little bit. The only thing I can think that I have done differently with the TST and EZ since I ran it for a long time with no interaction is I upgraded the injector harness to remove the popping that the original harness cause.

Any advice or similar problems or ideas to try?

I had the no starting issues with the tst as well. nice people but they are gonna have to get some of these issues lined out. I would take the tst off and go from there. the tst makes alot of power but hard to make it when it wont start is the way I looked at it. I run a similar setup as you-smarty and a pressure box and it has done pretty well. no big issues so far. you should try some injectors that are decent size. I think you will be impressed

I forgot the codes that were thrown when the EZ was added:
088
237
340
192
652
2269
602
338

It doesn't do it went the TST is on with the Smarty, only when all 3 (or maybe just the TST and EZ) are on the truck.

The plan is for injectors and probably twins before the end of the year, just trying to figure out this setup first. I swear I should rent my truck out to the aftermarket, I've been told three times we've never had this problem and have re-wrote the book due to my truck.

Well with the EZ on with the TST (Harness only) it wouldn't start. So I guess it's the EZ that's bad.

I had the no starting issue with just a tst and smarty. the pressure box was not on my trk at the time it would not start. I would take off one thing at a time and go from there. take the EZ off then see if it starts. if not take the tst off. I got to take mine off when the engine was hot and I was pulled up to a curb in a parking lot, that was lots of fun
