Ok, came across a good deal for an EZ. I'm still debating whether or not to get some injectors 1st. I was planning on some mach 1's or 1.5's. Which do yall recommend for my HO?

Also, should I get the EZ, then wait for injectors when I have enough $ to upgrade my clutch? Or should I just get the EZ and take it from there?

I won't be towing at all, just want some more fun around town. My clutch is in good shape as of now, FYI.

option 1: ez, clutch, injectors

option 2: injectors, clutch, ez

option 3: sell the truck and get a civic

I'd go for the EZ if I had a good deal on it- you'll need at least a boost fooler with bigger injectors and this is in the EZ already. Maybe you should also contemplate a Comp instead of the EZ since lots of people do sell the EZs to get Comps or DragComps
When choosing the clutch don't make yourself unhappy wiht one that will just hold the mods you have in mind now. I think you'll find out that you will go for a comp, Mach 3s and a bigger turbo within the next year or so....

Option 3. Make sure it's a hybrid too, less smoke that way.

I would get an EZ first, injectors next, then when your stock clutch wears a skirt and can't cut it anymore, upgrade that. That's my plan and I'm ony to the EZ part. When the warranty is about up, I'll get the injectors, fry the clutch, and then replace it with a bigun!

I did the EZ then injectors and still have the stock clutch. I only went with Bosch RV injectors though.

Comp, not EZ. You can always make a Comp into an EZ, but you can't make an EZ into a Comp.

I went with the EZ and made that mistake. Live and learn.

Well I've decided to go ez, then injectors, then clutch when the stock one's shot (probably not too long after the injectors!!). I'm gonna stick w/ the ez and wait for the comp, just cuz I have a good price for the ez. Thanks for the info.

I went with the comp and things were working pretty good on the stock clutch. I decided to do the injectors and just before I changed them out the comp began to slip the clutch higher up. I did the injectors and am waiting to do the clutch. I run the comp in 2x2 and can drive it without too many problems. After paying the extra money for the comp I think if I could find a deal on a EZ I would do it. I find that for the most part the engine sounds too rough with the comp set at higher levels. I noticed a nicer difference with the 275 injectors. The power was noticable and more even. If I had to do it again, I would buy the EZ and bigger injectors if more power was needed.
