Extang trifecta - anyone have one?

I've used "snap" type extang covers on my previous trucks, but wanted to try the tri-fold extang this time - anyone have one? Does it work well, easy to installl, e.t.c.?

I had one on the Dakota and liked it. It worked well, kept the bed dry, good vinyl, easy access to bed, great customer support (I had a hinge and corner break which they replaced no charge). Easy to install, I liked it better than the lift or snap covers as in cold weather it just folds up and then folds down, no fighting with it. It covers the stake pockets.

The frame has lot of plastic connector and hinge parts, so it doesn’t stand much physical abuse.

I have one on my 06 and it is great, No problems, easy to remove/install, easier to just use, Roll back one or two thirds and they come with built in tie in's for hauling large or small. great investment to make

Just got my Trifecta a couple of weeks ago, works great. It has (2) plastic hand clamps at the front that anchor it down and (2) spring loaded clamps at the rear that you pull down position it under bed side and release. Fast and easy. I had the Lund soft cover that opens from the rear. It was ok but a real pain to remove to haul something tall. I had to by a new one since I backed out of the garage with the lid up . Was just going to a house around the block and tried to close the lid but the part wouldn't fit so I just left the top up...oops. The Trifecta is pretty quiet when running down the road with the rear window open, better than the other one. It also fits real good over the bed. So far has not leaked, I really like it.

I've had one since last spring, works great, waterproof, and even looks great. I would buy again. I have had the ones with snaps and have one that has the plastic thingy that fits in the goove along the front, back and sides (its a real pain when its cold).

Mine had a small pinch in the cover when I recieved it, they had me mail the tag off of it and sent me a new one, easy to deal with and havent had any problems since.

I'm not impressed with the looks and function of mine. The corners have plastic under the vinyl and it makes the corners curl under slightly. Also has plastic at each hinge joint and makes a bump in the cover. It just doesn't look smooth around the edges. The biggest pain is I have to lift the back of it up to close the tailgate otherwise the tailgate will hit the frame. A guy I work with has a Lund trifold on his F150 and it looks and functions much better. If I were to buy another I would get the Extang hinged cover with the gas struts. Had one on my '01 Ram and loved it.
