Expectations from the HTT Stage IV Upgrade

I have a question about what exactly I can expect from the Stave IV HTT Upgrade. I have heard a reduction in EGT and possibly more top end speed. Can someone enlighten me as to what I can expect and exactly why I would want to do this upgrade. Just trying to line out what would be my next "best bang for the buck" upgrade. I am runnning no where near max fuel, but I do want to add more fuel eventually. I have a 12cm housing I was planning on installing, but decided to wait incase I decide to go this route so I can do them all at 1 time.

Thanks to all in advance.

on my non-ic 91 i saw slightly over 300* drop in full throttle runs with the HTT stage III compared to the stock H1C. both running the 18cm housing. The HTT housing is not only able to push more air, it is more effiecient as well. compressing air heats it up. friction with the blades of the turbo also heat the air. with a more efficient compressor wheel and housing you can compress more air without adding as much heat (others correct me if i am wrong) i went with the stage III because it was cheaper and i hope to add twins at some point, at that point it really won't matter whether i have the III or the IV (from what i've been told) i think it is a great upgrade, if you are never going to add BIG injectors you could probably pretty easily get away with the stage III and save a little $$$.

What Mark said Adding airflow enhancements is adding power potential. If you're not rolling smoke at WOT with your present setup, you don't really need more air...but you know you'll eventually add more fuel, so why not With a 5speed the 12cm housing will give you a brand new, super fun to drive truck. Toss that sucker on there asap. The turbo doesn't have to come off for the HTT IV when you get it.

I'm getting my stage III upgrade tomorrow. I went with the stage III partially due to the price, the fact that HTT is backed up for 4 to 5 weeks on orders for the stage IV, and the fact that I have upgraded all I need as far as power in order to maintain a level of power needed to tow my trailer without destroying my engine or drivetrain. If I was after all out power for racing then I would go with the larger injectors and the stage IV. I have smoke on full throttle I would like to clear up a little and I think the stage III will do it for me. I will know after tomorrow I guess.

My truck only "hazed" at WOT with the stock compressor and 12cm housing. I was running 32psi boost and around 1400*. With the Stage IV, EGT's dropped about 150*. It also cleared up the haze.

I'd say go ahead and put the 12cm housing on and see how EGT's are; if you need cooling, put the Stage IV on. The Stage IV goes on easy, even with the turbo on the truck.

I'm still trying to figure out the best injectors for my situation as well. I might go something close to stock. I called htt and asked them and they pointed out some that would work and increase hp. I can get them through Htt. Bosch Injectors.
