exhaust popping and abs lights?
Hey guys, Last week I removed the resinator(sp) and the muffler. I installed a straight pipe(5' long). When I 1st cranked it, I let it run for a while-then rev'ed it up...it let out the loadest pop. I thought it shot a potato out the tail pipe. Haven't had that happen anymore, but now if it's in neutral and ya rev it up- it will sound like backfire or some popping ....what gives???
I've had the truck about 3 weeks, took it on the 1st trip5 days after I bought. Evrything ran fine, but when I got into Troy,NC for a wheeling trip, I notice the brake/ABS light came on. So I checked the fluids, e-brake lever, and checked to see if e-brake worked-all was fine. The only way the light goes a way-turn engine off and restart. I thought that was odd, but it has done that 3 times total over the last few weeks. Any thoughts????
the truck is a 1994 Ram 3500/dually-CTD,nv4500........oh yeah-its bad A**!!!!,thanks,Chuck
