Just posting this for information sake. Like many members, I wanted a shifter mounted switch for my exhaust brake, and I wanted the push-pull 2 speed rear axle style. My Cummins dealer quoted me $120 for a Cummins switch which seemed pretty steep so I've done a lot of research the past week. I've come up with some part numbers that I thought I'd pass on to help anyone else looking for the same thing. The first option is a standard 2 speed axle switch. This is really an on/on switch with 2 circuits, more than what is needed, but can be made to work just fine. There is a harness that goes with it, but not absolutely necessary. What I couldn't find is a clamp to attach it to the stick. Listed are the switch number first, then the connector number (if I could find one) by various manufacturers.

The second option is a single speed axle switch, on/off, which is what I purchased. I got it through NAPA, although it is manf. by Pollak. It is ready to mount to the stick, but I have had a hell of a time finding the mating connector to go with it which is pretty much needed for this switch. Finally turned to my hometown (pop. 800) parts man, he said he can get it.

The problem is your switch is $75 and the napa switch is $15. If your switch was more reasonably priced at say $30 it would be a better option!

True, but with our kit you would not of had and I Quote:

The third option is to find a 10 amp rated push/pull switch & make a bracket. That's what I did, and it's working well. I have around $15 in the whole setup, but I do a lot of fab work. I agree though that the $75 was to steep for me. BD's switch looks really nice though.

I like the Pacbrake switches. It is a cheaper alternative [almost half] to the BD switches, but every bit as nice. My brother been running one for 3 years & it has held up great! Can't beat the price & it looks clean.
