Exhaust Brake factory switch

I dont have it in my truck but i did comment on how you MIGHT be able to do it. so, here goes from an electricians perspective...
If the switch is momentary like the seat heater buttons etc., this may not work so no guarantees. Perhaps a good test would be to hold in the ex. brk. button while you start the truck and see if it turns on right away. If it does, release the button and hold down again. If it shuts off this procedure will work just fine as this is how my plan will have the switch function.
-Remove the wires from the back of the factory switch and put them across a normally closed contact on a standard automotive relay. (will require cutting factory wires)
-Steal power off an ignition switched source, and put to one side of factory ex. brk switch
-put the other side of the factory switch to the coil of the new relay
-ground the other side of the relay coil to a good ground.
That would essentialy change the postion of the switch to normally closed (button held in). pressing the button would now be the same as when the button was released before. I would dig a little deeper, but i think that may just work. It should be the equivalent of holding in the button. I'm near certain this will work and i have it all planned out in my head so if any of that is unclear, feel free to pm me and we will work it out.
EDIT: recommend checking voltage at switch as some computer inputs are often 5 volts and 12 could damage switch.
