Lockup switch operation:<br><br>The PCM locks up the TC by grounding a wire of the lockup solenoid. Basically there is one relay in the PDC that &quot;arms &quot; the lockup solenoid valve by putting voltage to the valve when you are in OD and are in the right range of throttle, and the line from the solenoid valve that is grounded when the PCM says lockup. <br>So the lockup switch does the following: First you replace the relay with a bridge, so you can lockup in 2, 3 and od <br>Second you splice into the cable to the pcm, and ground it thropugh a switch. <br>Visit tstproduct lockup switch for some more info.<br>But be aware that this thing is no cure for tranny problems and should be used very carefully to avoid damaging drivetrain components!<br>( My personal opinion is that it's a good idea to call Bill K at DTT, but I am biased )<br><br>AlpineRAM
