Evil twin leak

Still having issues with a leak at the top evil twin duramax cp3 from the hardline/nut. Having trouble reaching Lloyd. Anyone have any ideas on finding a replacement hardline since I suspect a flare is damaged.

You've already tried thread tape or fitting sealer?

I had thought about that but the leak is between the nut and the hardline. I'm not sure how a thread sealer could be put there to contain 26k psi....

Dont put thread sealer there. I had a slight leak there and pulled the line to ensure it was clean and the threads were good, put it back on and used a crows foot and got it really tight. It took alot more torque to get it to stop than I initally thought to get it to quit leaking. Been a month now no more leaks. Tim

Will try - any thoughts on actual torque range? Don't want to break it....

I used a 19mm crows foot, 6" extension and a long ratchet. I pulled pretty hard, if I had to guess it was probably 45-50 ftlbs or so. Be carefull though dont want to break it. Tim

While tightening the nut try wiggling the hardline at the same time to take pressure off it and torque it tight like tim suggested. If that doesn't work, check the flare for a crack.

Yeah tell me about it. I ordered his Evil twin kit on July 7th and still don't have it. He email'd me back on July 21st and said it was basically ready and I have sent him 3 email's since then with NO reply's. Awesome customer service, huh? When and if I receive my Evil kit, I wonder if he will be available for any install or troubleshooting questions? It's sad that I have to post this, but maybe I will hear from him because of it. Where's the love Lloyd?

Out of curiosity - what does the flare look like on the hardline? Is it just a tapered flare or does it have one step?

Install high pressure lines to the injection pump to the junction block.
Tighten
Tighten the fittings to 44 N·m (32 lb ft).

Hope that helps, from gm, doesn't sound like much though.
Make sure the line is clean, we have been having lots of leaks after doing injectors. They want us to clean them all up with a bead blaster, I usally just hit it with a wire brush and no problems
good luck
