I kinda want to start making plans. Maybe see if I can get the Friday night before off from work.
Also, I don't know where everybody stays down there. I might just camp. Not sure.

I did the trip in one day last year, so don't have much info for ya.

I have to so I don't catch the heat from my wife. If she knows in advance, she can't get as mad. [redface]

I'll have to put the date on the calendar for PapaSmurf, he always looks forward to Commerce. I don't have a firm departure date, so I don't know where I'll be in two months. Too bad on The Pottery, they had a really nice campsites. Just around the corner.... Leigh

Hey Leigh,
I'm planning on coming down there again this year also. Kind of bummed me out too when Dave and Mike told me the Pottery had closed down. I guess I'll stay at Country Boy's again. Hope both of y'all can make it too. :D

Is there a thread started for Commerce festivities? Which weekend in september is it? 6th or 13th? I may be back in time to head north with PapaSmurf, just checking to see which weekend. Leigh

Hey Leigh,
According to the NADM website (http://www.runnadm.com/), it's going to be on the 6th. Click here (http://www.runnadm.com/events.php) for the event schedule page. Hope you can make it! :D

Thanks Dennis, its looking better as the weeks go by that the end of August I'll be heading back to Florida. This event have been one of my favorites, too bad the Pottery wasn't open. We will probably get a hotel, unless we get the yrly PM's done on the fiver by then. Leigh

Leigh, it would be great to see you again.
A word of caution. I have seen the Flyer we produced for Atlanta and it shows time of 6pm - 11pm. This is for Friday test and tune. Saturday racer gates open at 8AM, spectators 9AM, timed runs start at 9:30AM and eliminations scheduled for 2PM.
See everyone there.

Can I just come out a play? I haven't been down the track in over two years. Keeping my fingers crossed that I will be out of Afghanistan by Wednesday the earliest, Friday the latest. Looking forward to any excitement, that doesn't include high explosives. r/Leigh
