Eratic Mpg, Miss At Idle, Choking Downhill
I Haven't Had My Truck Long, But The Mpg Are Eratic( 10,13,15,17 ). Also I Have A Miss At Idle That Comes And Goes, But Doesn't Do It All The Time, And Finally I Sometimes Get A Loss Of Power Or Choke Feeling When I Let Off The Accelator Going Downhill. Is This Injector Problems? Any Help Would Be Appreciated. Thanks

Maybe injector issue, suggest having check for codes at Dodge dealership. Pull your fuel filter and check for contamination such as water or rust before taking in. If contamination is found by dealer may void warranty. Good Luck

Maybe Fuel Control Actuator or more commonly called a FCA.Use the SEARCH function on FCA.Meanwhile add a big slug of ashless two stroke oil like two cans or some of the more popular diesel lube and fuel treatment to your fuel.If problem goes away and returns after refueling and NO additive its a bad FCA.

Didn't notice 176K miles your out of warranty, I wouldn't worry about down hills it would be up hills I would worry about. Do you have an exhaust brake?
