Just curious to know how everyone shuts their G56 equipped trucks off. Whether you do it with the clutch depressed, or not...I had heard a few years back that it was a good idea to shutoff clutch depressed to alleviate any added stress on the dual mass flywheel.
Any possibility of long term damage either way?

I have the clutch pushed in when I shut it down, seems to have less shaking in the stick...

L I B Vern,,,,, just went and tried it,,,, seems it does shake a bit less with the clutch in,,,,

I don't worry about it but I've heard clutch in is better...

It says right in the manual that it doesn't matter. They do recommend shutting down with the clutch pedal depressed to eliminate some of the shut down shudder.

It does make a noticeable difference.

Oh yea...clutch depressed here.
