With the cost of fuel rising I have been thinking a lot about adding some engine monitoring electronics to my truck that will assist in maximizing my fuel economy. I have searched around a bit but haven’t come across anything that is offered as a complete kit. I am wondering if anyone would be interested in a complete package that would include a color digital display that would be fully customizable and able to show accurate real time engine instrumentation, fuel economy, range, speed via GPS sensor, and option for single or multiple fuel tank monitoring. I know there are programmers out there that can show engine data, but I don’t believe they are customizable for different applications or monitoring multiple fuel tanks. Maybe I am wrong?

For some of us, that isnt an option. These are work trucks, so most of the time they are working, helping us make a living.

It currently isnt cheap, approx $2200 for everything needed. I am looking at alternative displays that are less expensive than the waterproof $1100 one that have found. Target price I am shooting for is around $1500 for the complete package.
